Job Summary:
We are looking for a SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL programming, database architecture, and performance tuning to support application development and business intelligence needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution plans.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and transformation.
• Work closely with software developers, analysts, and data engineers to support application development.
• Troubleshoot database issues, resolve errors, and improve system efficiency.
• Design and implement data models, schemas, and database structures.
• Create reports and dashboards using SQL-based tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau).
• Ensure database backups, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery plans are in place.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or MySQL).
• Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and indexing.
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Understanding of stored procedures, views, and database triggers.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Familiarity with data security best practices.
